Home dwarf: M60-UCD1

Reptilian-like race, inhabiting the subsurface layer of planets, moons, and larger asteroids. It is known with exceptional appetite for meat and brain. Wox are unscrupulous and merciless towards their prey, regardless of their race, they will be considered firstly as food. The most favorite delicacy for the Wox is the ant race – the Riygls. The Wox breed it in every star system under their own influence.

Movements that fight for the decategorization of the Riygls as "food" and their recognition as intelligent species, emerge from the depths of the Wox’s Scientific caste. After a short stop of the food supplies by the command of the Ruling caste, the ravenous hunger prevails and the strikers devastate a batch of Riygls.

Due to the extreme conditions and density in sector M60-UCD1, which are radically different from the natural environment of the Wox, they leave the future Graveyard Nebula and establish a second native dwarf - Coma Berenices. After the events with the self-destruction of M60-UCD1, the Wox divide the territories with the Monlex in Graveyard Nebula. The Wox remain unaffected.

The Wox’s warfare is characterized mainly by the use and development of psychotronic technologies. In 86.14 g.c. they conclude a truce with the Monlex, a kinship race, and succeed to complete a research on the making of a universal psychotronic weapon with the ability to bend the psyche of every brain-neuronal type of carbon origin. The technology is implemented on the reinforced Capitol ship 'Nightingale'. They test the ship in field conditions against a detached fleet of the Omgoths. In the follow-up battle the Wox capture 1/4 of the ships and consume the hostages.

The rapidly growing population and territories of the Wox inevitably challenge the Gramorians and the Omgoths to frequent border battles. Having no war with any of the strongest races in SOL, the Wox manage to strengthen their hunting territories in dozens of the "lights" (dwarf galaxies). The Wox leave no witnesses of their atrocities. Nevertheless, rumors of that spread around, making them multiple enemies.

In 90.19 g.c. the Gramorians begin the first galactic war in support of the Riygls and their release from the domination of the Wox. The actions and the interests quickly drag all races in the cosmic holocaust, as the borders controlled by the Wox become center of the war.

No. All alliance bonuses don't stack.

Each Nightingale affected ship shot has 1% chance to steal enemy ship without shield. So you need to make your fleet with more beams to take down enemy shield faster.

That +5% Beam damage on covered ships against mix ships... kinda confusing me. Does this mean if I was the Wox, the ships my Nightingale covers (19 ally ships, right?) would do +5% beam damage to enemy ships ONLY IF the enemy ships have missiles and beams equipped?

Ignorance. Forgive me if this is obvious and my lack of food is making me look at this weird.

Yes, this is true. Its kind of strange but Omgoth needs mixed weapons ships to have its bonus.

Ps. 1 unique covers 20 ships from his fleet (21 ships with the unique)

Awesome. So in a perfect world, I'd want to make Beam Boats in my army, and each battery on the ships covered will have a 1% chance of capturing ships that are mixed.

And it makes sense about the Omgoth. Every race needs a race they are weak against. That's just the theirs. However, Omgoth can kind of negate the bonus if they build their fleet ships with nothing but missiles and their uniques with nothing but beams right? If the Fleets miss, the Dreadnought would pick up the slack and cause the splash damage... but this is for another thread lol.

Wox can steal any type of ship except uniques. However there is 5% beam damage bonus against mix type ships. Yes in a perfect world you would want to build only boats with beam damage. I am playing Wox in G10 and I will test if the percentages are good.
