The countdown should be for the begginer galaxies as well..

It seems, that the beginner galaxies are acting the same way as the deathmatches in GTC.

Admin, please put a cooldown for the ppl as in the standard galaxies..

Its not fair to register and to see ppl already with 150 planets..

Also, the galaxies should end , when there are 5 people left alive, not when the 5 ppl have 500 planets..

Because now, when there are too many inactives, the galaxy cooldown starts too soon, and virtually no battles are made..

That needs to be fixed asap.

Space is about fighting.

I agree. It kills the fun of playing when there are no battles.
And seeing a guy with 150 planets when you just started is not going to entice a lot of new players.

The current beginner galaxy is about new people get to see the game INSTANTLY.

You bring up a good point, some people do like deathmatch, and possible they could make a deathmatch version.

However the beginner galaxy is about new players its not about even playing field, they set it up so that new players can test things, or really anyone can test stuff. Ship builds/planet builds/economic strategies/Research strategies etc etc.

The best way to improve, is to fight.


The passive planet taking will teach you nothing..

I had to miss the first 4-5 days of galaxy Beginner 63 and finished 4th and by the time I was ready to even try combat I had around 107 planets after a day and a half of playing I manage to get pop high enough to make it to rank 5th when I made it to rank 5th and 107 planets I took Samantha -=CIA=- place I believe my pop was around 290 mil, as soon as I hit 5th place it triggered count down now remember I’m colonising to be able to make iron energy so I can start attacking inactive home worlds or players but as soon as I’m there it counts down for 90 tick, over the next 90 tick I got to 390-400 + mil pop was trying to colonise all 146-156 planets I had by then and get more experience and pass JackRyan -=CIA=- who was 3rd place I manage to colonise I believe 135-140 planets or more around 12 ticks left on count down I went to sleep and didn’t check

It sucks having a countdown altogether its stupid idea all ways has been a bad thing I played Space: Glory Through Conquest around 2003 – 2008 I used DWC_RONIN clan tag I not used it for 9 years I got Ronin in standard gal I had to delete him not going afk for 120 hours or more had to go away so made Mrmeo for newbie gal, I don’t multie

Isn’t this total miss point beginners join a newbie galaxy to learn and then you place a limited time on how long the galaxy will run for by adding a countdown?

Newbie galaxy’s should be death match and let it run for 3-4 months and if more players join game then start new galaxy

Also you should be profiling winners of each and stick them in a newb galaxy for newbie galaxy winners

It’s boring only having one newbie galaxy and one standard galaxy at a time

The idea is for new comers to play directly, not waiting for people to get around and play.

If they want to play new galaxy from start with others, they can then join the standard galaxies.
