Hey guys. I joined up mostly hoping to find a thread here about this. I doubt anyone from space days remembers me, but on the off chance, I used to go by LordBORG there.
For whatever reason a few months ago while sitting at work I started thinking about the days of space. I remembered the game well, but sadly, not the players. Gonad was the only name that really hung in my mind. Earlier today I decided to take a look and see if the game was still running. I found the facebook page dedicated to it, and after reading down a few posts, I saw the sad news about Gonad. After a little more reading I found out about this game.
I can't say Gonad and I were friends by any measure, but I always looked up to him for his knowledge of the game. He was always trying to tweek his play here and there to keep an edge. I didn't know him as well as most of the people I was friends with, but he always seemed like a good person. My heart goes out to his friends and family for their loss.
