After battle on uncolonized planet

After battle on uncolonized enemy planet is won, my ships doesn't take the planet so i have to remove em from it and send new ones.

In the old space, a planet was conqered by firing a shot. This sorted out allies contesting or naps attacking same planet.

In that case, if you fired all weapons killing enemy ships you would have to wait till next tick.

That was space and this is sol tho so I dunno.
