Home dwarf: Pictoris I
Spider-like race from the reptile family, extremely martial and distinguished in their habitat. Thanks to their complex nervous and sensor system, the Omgoths develop tactics and advanced level of combating. They are highly adaptive and reactant to unexpected enemies or unforeseen events.
The first evidence and reports about the Omgoths are found in the scientific chronicles of the Human race, who were intrigued by their home world. They are described as relatively young, underdeveloped, and unfriendly race, but with great potential.
The Omgoths begin their strong expansion as an empire beyond Pictoris I after the big explosion of M60-UCD1, later called Graveyard Nebula. They take advantage of the lack of communication of their enemies due to the interference in every single range of particle emission, and use their traditional military structure of communication as an advantage over the communication facilities.
The Omgoths quickly advance through the neutral zones and areas controlled by the Gramorians and their vassal races. This way they manage to establish influence over half of the SOL galaxy and enslave many worlds to their ascetic and militant lifestyle.
At the end of the galactic imbalance, the Omgoths are equal and open enemies to the Gramorians, having claims over the control of SOL. In the preparation for a major expansion in the Gramorians limits, due to their negligence, the Omgoths endure two serious defeats by the Wox and the Monlex. Later on they participate in the First Galactic SOL War, engaging partly on the Gramorians side.
During the Trade Wars pressed by the lack of success, the Imperial Military Management develops the first-ever warship of its class, 'Dreadnought', with promises for future victories. The ships of this class are equipped with a sophisticated system of targeting beam cannons on inactive missiles in battle space. An explosion on a marked missile between enemy ships causes chaos and destabilization of the key systems and the ship becomes vulnerable to the next furious attack by the Omgoths.
Ultimately the martial spirit of the Omgoths finds its match in a ship, worthy of representing them. Under the wing of Dreadnought, all types of ships and their warriors mark exceptional feats in battles, driven by the fighting morale.
